Edwin Ashdon is an ambitious brainchild with aspirations to be more.
More than a single product entity. More than a boring business model.
The world is a vast treasure trove of ideas to explore and expand upon. The only limitations we have are the ones we set for ourselves. And while we know it isn’t always possible to be everything at once, it is undeniable that unless we break the boundaries and try we will never reach even a single aspiration.
This is why we’ve decided to spearhead our efforts into two directions:
Ashcroft & Barnes – what we fondly like to call a ‘mood’ apparel and accessories store
Green Dragon Books – a place for us to indulge in our love of all things books and reading

We are passionate about the world we live in and that’s why unlike many of the big stores, we only keep small amounts of inventory on hand. This applies to both our apparel and accessories line, as well as to our physical books.
We believe that a balance needs to be achieved between what our valued customers want and the footprint we leave on our planet.
This means that sometimes, the costs might be higher than what you would get from a large brand store, but we feel this is a positive trade-off for keeping our planet clean from wantonly discarded products.
Our practice of sustainability means that you can buy in confidence knowing that we are both contributing to keeping our planet clean and healthy.

Books are a serious love. They can be your first love, and your best friend. They can take you to worlds beyond your wildest imagination, and help you scale the toughest personal mountains. The journey to find and add books to our own personal dragon hoard is one we take seriously.
